Oksana Nazarchuk has been teaching English for 10 years. She has experience working with all age groups as well as conducting general English and exam preparation classes. Since starting her career, Oksana has been taking advantage of every opportunity to broaden her professional experience, which led to her obtaining CELTA, CELTYL, and Delta (Modules 1, 2) qualifications. She also worked in the context of academic management. Oksana is a Cambridge CELT-P and CELT-S trainer and a speaking examiner.

Teacher Burnout – how to love your job again
Every year some talented teachers leave the profession because they either feel they can’t stand it anymore or they feel inadequate for the job. Sadly, usually this happens because the main problem — teacher burnout — is not recognized and addressed in time.

In this session, we will discuss what teacher burnout is and what worrying signs might suggest a person is suffering from it. Most importantly, we will look at some practical ways to battle the beast and find joy in teaching again.
